7.4. Travel lock

Switch on the Travel lock [5] to prevent the shaver from being switched on unintentionally. Proceed as
follows:
 Press the On/Off button [3] until the symbol for the Travel lock [5] flashes.
 If the On/Off button [3] is now pressed, the symbol for the Travel lock [5] flashes a few times.
However, the shaver does not switch on.
You can switch the Travel lock [5] off again as follows:
 Press the On/Off button [3] until the shaver switches on. The symbol for the Travel lock [5] flashes a
few times during this process and then goes out after a short time.
 You can now switch the shaver on and off again using the On/Off button [3].

8. Cleaning / maintenance

8.1. Cleaning

 Before cleaning, disconnect the shaver from electric power as otherwise you might get an electric
shock!
 Before cleaning, switch off the shaver to avoid hazards.
 Never immerse the shaver in water or other liquids.
 Do not use compressed air, scouring pads or aggressive cleaners to clean the shaver.
Cleaning the shaver after every use is recommended to get the best shaving results.

8.1.1. Cleaning after every use

Cleaning the Blade system
 Remove the protective cap.
 Clean the blade heads of the Blade system [1] using the supplied cleaning brush.
