5. WIRING
Caution: under no circumstances should the wires be doubled to make them thicker
1. Connect the wires securely following the wiring diagram (fig. 6)
2. To connect the second monitor, 6 wires are needed for all the functions:
•Terminal "1" on the monitor to terminal "1" of the second monitor.
•Terminal "2" on the monitor to terminal "2" of the second monitor..
•Terminal "3" on the monitor to terminal "3" of the second monitor.
•Terminal "4" on the monitor to terminal "4" of the second monitor..
•Terminal "5" on the monitor to terminal "5" of the second monitor.
•Terminal "10" on the monitor to terminal "6" of the second monitor..
Use the following wires:
Additional monitor WEVPMS 253.2 has the same characteristic functions as the main one, except for gate-opener
and light control that are only available on the main Monitor.
The WEVPMS 253.2 enable:
- to communicate with the outdoorstation
- intercom function with the main monitor
- doorlock control

Doorphone set WEVP 252.2, WEVP 256, WEVP 259.

9. TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE - GUARANTEE

Problems
• The monitor doesn't light up
• Poor image and/or sound
• No chime

GUARANTEE CONDITIONS :

The guarantee does not cover: the consumables (batteries, etc.) and the damages caused by: misuse, improper
installation, external intervention, deterioration by mechanical or electrical shock, fall or atmospheric phenomenon.
• Never open the apparatus or the guarantee will be invalidated.
• For return in SAV, protect the screen to prevent scratching.
• Only ever clean with a soft cloth; never use solvents. Before cleaning, disconnect and switch off the system.
The sales slip or the invoice is required as proof of purchase date.

Remedies
• Check that the adaptor plug is correctly
pushed home.
• Check that the cables used are the correct
thickness and that the videophone connec-
tion cables are not in the same cable sheath
as 230 V cables.
• Melody selector set to mute.
