tion dummy. Lubricate the distal surface on the plaster positive in the area
of the reinforced PVA bag with silicone grease (fig. 9).
Attach the small screw ring with the lamination dummy to the plaster posi-
tive using the 503S3 Screw provided (fig. 10). Seal the screw head area
with 636K8 Plasta Tape.
Cut 616G6 Dacron Felt as reinforcement material and pull it on the plaster
positive. Weld the edges to each other and remove the excess material
covering the screw valve (fig.11).
Pull on a double layer of 623T3 Perlon Stockinette. Tie off the first layer
in the screw valve's groove (fig.12). Reinforce the area around the socket
brim with carbon. Next, pull on another double layer of Perlon stockinette
and tie it off in the screw valve's groove.
Pull on a 99B81 PVA Bag and laminate.
Before the lamination resin hardens, apply polyethylene adhesive tape to
the small screw ring above the groove in order to squeeze out any exces-
sive lamination resin (fig.13).
After the lamination resin has hardened, remove the socket from the plaster
positive and remove the lamination dummy.
Screw in the upper valve piece (fig.14).
If the valve has become dirty, remove the 21Y145 Upper valve piece using
a pin wrench. Clean the individual components and reassemble.
4 Cleaning
The valve should be cleaned regularly with clear, warm water.
