7. Working life

7.5 Installation

To install the lifting columns, there are in each case four M8 tappings available in the internal and
external sections.
The recommended bolt depth is at least 20 mm and the recommended torque 15 Nm.
For guaranteed rigidity, it is essential to stipulate an adequately dimensioned foundation to
absorb the stated maximum compressive and tensile forces and the torque loading (see technical
specification).
Wear the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during work.

7.6 Connecting hand switch/controller

You can connect the following hand switches to the lifting column:

2-key hand switch (Start-Stop) to drive the lifting columns.
The hand switch is connected directly with the lifting column. The controller is built into the lifting
column.
You can connect the following controllers to the lifting column:
•
RKMultiControl mono
•
RKMultiControl duo
The lifting column is connected with the external controller. The controller is not in the lifting co-
lumn, but in the external controller.
