3. TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

When the equipment is delivered, check that it has not been dama-
ged in transit. If any defects are found, make the necessary arrange-
ments with the carrier.
If the equipment delivered is to be installed at

some later time, store it in a dry place and protect
it from impacts and all outside influences (moisture, frost, etc.).

4.2 The pump
- Submersible, monobloc.
- Vertical discharge (horizontal for 56-15).
- Common shaft, motor pump.
- Single-stage with a closed wheel with wide passage equipped with
a front wear ring and a rear wear plate (except 56-1 and 56-15).
- Motor-pump oil-containing intermediate chamber, lubricating both
mechanical seals.

5. INSTALLATION
5.1 Mounting
- The compact design of this pump makes it easy to use in a lift pum-
ping station. The float level regulators, offered as an accessory,
allow automatic operation. The pump is designed for operation
completely submerged in the liquid to be pumped. The level regu-
lators must not be disturbed by splashes resulting from the arrival of
water in the well.
- It allows the water level to be brought down within a few centime-
ters of the bottom and in the event of a continuous arrival of water,
it can continue to pump while snorting.
- Complete pump installation using accessories in accordance with
needs; we recommend the installation of a ball non-return valve.
- If the ground on which the pump is placed is not stable, it is recom-
mended to either hang it by its handle or install it on a stable plat-
form to avoid the rapid fouling of the filter or the pump sinking into
the mud.
- In the presence of fibrous material (grass, leaves, etc.) in the pum-
ped water, place the pump in a basket.
- Never handle or hang the unit by its power cord.
- Lower the unit using a chain attached to the hoist ring.
