water and disinfectant, while respecting the proportions indicated on the packaging of the disinfectant itself.
- Completely immerse each individual component in the solution, taking care to avoid the formation of air
bubbles in contact with the components. Leave the components immersed for the period of time indicated on
the packaging of the disinfectant, and associated with the concentration chosen to prepare the solution.
- Remove the components now disinfected and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm drinking water.
- After disinfection shake the accessories vigorously and place them on a paper towel, or alternatively, dry them
with a jet of hot air (e.g. using a hair dryer).
- Dispose of the solution as recommended by the disinfectant manufacturer.
STERILIZATION
The accessories subject to sterilization are (C1.1-C1.2-C1.3-C1.4-C2-C5.1A-C5.1B-C5.1C-C5.2-C5.3-C5.4-C5.5.1-
C5.5.2-C6). The sterilization procedure described in this paragraph is validated according to ISO 17665-1 and
is effective on all components only if the instructions are followed precisely and if the components have been
previously sanitized.
Equipment:
Steam sterilizer fractionated vacuum and overpressure compliant with standard EN 13060
Execution:
Pack each component to be treated in a sterile barrier system or packaging in compliance with standard EN 11607.
Place the packaged components in the steam sterilizer. Run the sterilization cycle according to the equipment
instructions for use at a temperature of 134°C for 10 minutes.
Storage:
Store the sterilized components as per the instructions for use of the chosen sterile barrier system or packaging.
AIR FILTERING
The unit is equipped with an air filter (A3) which should be replaced when dirty
or when its colour changes. Do not wash or re-use the used filter. The filter must
be regularly replaced to help ensure efficient compressor performance. The filter
should be regularly checked. For spare filters contact your dealer or an authorised
service centre.
To replace the filter:
Lift the lid and remove the filter using a screwdriver (see fig.). The filter is designed
to remain fixed in its housing.
Use only Flaem original accessories.
