7. MALFUNCTIONS – PROBLEMS CAUSES AND REMEDIES
BREAKDOWN
The washing program does not
start even though you have
selected the washing program
number and pressed START /
STOP button and the display
panel 2 shows the message
"HOT"
The washing system does not
properly wash the cooking
chamber
The washing leaves a whitish film
on the cooking chamber walls
CAUSE
The temperature inside the
cooking chamber is over 100°C
The detergent type that has been
used is not the recommended one
Detergent and polish suction
pipes are inverted
The detergent container is over
There is no water coming to the
rotor
The detergent pump is damaged
(it is possible to check the pump
rotation through the hole on the
rear of the washing system box)
The rinse aid type that has been
used is not the recommended one
Detergent and polish suction

The rinse aid container is empty
The rinse aid pump is damaged (it
is possible to check the pump

SOLUTION
Wait for the cooking chamber
temperature to decrease until under
100 °C (to quickly cool down the
cooking chamber you can use the
cooling program "COOL")
Use recommended types of
detergent
Place the detergent and polish
suction pipes in the correspondent
cans
Replace the detergent can
Check the washing system water
inlet
Call an UNOX qualified technician
for service
Use recommended types of rinse
aid
Place the detergent and polish
suction pipes in the correspondent
cans
Replace the rinse aid container
Call an UNOX qualified technician
for service
