5.1 Safety instructions

RK Rose+Krieger GmbH has built this adaptation system according to the current state of the
engineering and existing safety regulations. Nonetheless, this adaptation system may pose risks
to persons and property if this is used incorrectly or for other than the intended purpose, or if the
safety instructions are not observed.
Skilled operation guarantees high performance and availability of this adaptation system. Faults
or conditions which can impair safety are to be rectified immediately.
Any person having anything to do with the installation, use, operation or maintenance of this
adaptation system must have read and understood the technical manual.
This includes
•
understanding the safety instructions in the text and
•
being familiar with the arrangement and function of the various operating and application op-
tions.
Only nominated persons may use, install and operate this. All work on and with this product may
only take place in accordance with this technical manual. It is therefore essential that these
instructions are ready to hand in the vicinity of the product and kept in a safe place.
The general, national and company safety regulations must be observed. Responsibilities for the
use, installation and operation of this product must be regulated and observed unambiguously,
so that there cannot be any ill-defined competencies with regard to safety.
The user should only operate this adaptation system in perfect condition. Any change is to be re-
ported to the next higher person responsible immediately.

5.2 Special safety instructions

All work on the adaptation system may only take place in accordance with this technical ma-
nual.
•
The device may only be opened by authorized specialist personnel. If there is a fault with the
adaptation system, we recommend that you contact the manufacturer or send the adaptation
system in for repair.
•
Unauthorized reconstructions of or changes to the adaptation system are not permitted for
safety reasons.
•
The compressive and tensile forces and torque load of these adaptation systems specified by
RK Rose+Krieger GmbH must not be exceeded.
•
Safety-relevant devices must be inspected at regular intervals, but at least once a year, for pro-
per function, damage and completeness.
•
Wear the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during work.
