Installing the adjustable stop
1) Insert the stop sleeve with the integrated stop pin into the base body.
When installing the stop, ensure that the tapered side of the stop is rest
ing on the foot stirrup.
2) Then insert the stop bumper into the base body.
3) Install the set screw in the base body with a T 30 wrench.
Installing the compression spring stop
1) The ball must be positioned in the receiver of the spring guide housing
when installing the spring that lifts the foot. First slide the ball together
with the spring guide housing into the base body (see fig. 1, item 12).
2) Position the compression spring and spring pin in the base body.
3) Install the set screw in the base body with a T 30 wrench.
Patient trial fitting
1) Perform a trial fitting with the patient.
2) After final adjustment of the joint, apply Loctite 241 to the threads of the
set screws and install them into the base body with a T 30 wrench.
6 Cleaning
Promptly clean the joint after contact with water containing salt, chlorine or
soap, or if it gets dirty.
1) Clean the joint with a damp cloth when needed.
2) Dry it with a lint-free cloth and allow it to air dry fully. Do not expose to
direct heat sources (e.g. sunlight, stove or radiator).
7 Maintenance
INFORMATION
The product may be exposed to increased loads by the patient.
► Shorten the maintenance intervals according to the expected loads.
The manufacturer requires at least a semi-annual inspection of the product
to verify functionality and check for wear.
As part of maintenance, inspect the product for wear and proper functional
ity.

Corresponding service sets can be ordered for servicing the product.
Do not use lubricants.
