Can something happen to me, due to the current?
No, because the current strength of the electric pulses is so low that it remains
completely safe even with longer applications. However, the intensity should
be adjusted to the individual sensitivity.
Therefore, start for each new application with the lowest intensity level und
increase it slowly according to the individual feeling (also see: "Change of
intensity"). The application should never be unpleasant.
I have no experience with stimulation current therapy. How can I apply
the device without problems?
The MEDISANA TDD has been particularly developed to be easily used by
everyone. Even without special knowledge of the subject "stimulation current
therapy" you can treat yourself safely and easily with the help of the enclosed
TENS therapy booklet and the preset programs 1-3.
How often can I use the electrodes?
According to the condition of your skin and when observing the application
instructions you can use the electrodes up to 100 times.
Can I use other electrodes as well?
Yes, but you should only use original MEDISANA electrodes. You can also use
duration electrodes with gel (also see "Last but not least, Accessories")
• Remove the batteries before you clean the unit.
• Never use strong cleaning agents or stiff brushes.
• Clean the unit with a soft cloth which has been lightly moistened with a mild
soap. Never dip the unit into water for cleaning and ensure that no water
gets into the unit at any time. Only use the unit again, when it is fully dry.
• If there are separate heads for the unit, then clean them as necessary with a
small soft brush. First allow the heads to dry off completely before you use
them again on the unit.
• Please clean the electrodes as described in the instruction leaflet.
Dispose of your old electrical unit in an environmentally acceptable manner
when it has reached the end of its service life!
Packaging is re-usable or may be re-cycled; metal parts must be disposed of
as scrap metal; plastics, electrical and electronic components must be disposed
of as electro-scrap.
Please remove the batteries before disposing of the equipment. Do not dis-
