8.2. WARNING OF DIRT ON THE SENSOR
In order to remind the user to clean the infrared sensor, this thermometer
has a special alarm. If the thermometer hasn't been used for a long time
or if several measures have been taken, the LCD will display the cleaning
symbol to remind the user to clean the infrared sensor. The thermometer
will return back to standby mode after pressing any button.
• Remember to dispose of the product responsibly.
• Do not mix products bearing the crossed-out bin symbol with
your general household waste.
• For the correct collection and treatment of these products take
them to the collection points designated by your local authority.
Alternatively contact the retailer who sold you the product.
• Please consult the doctor at once if a battery is accidentally
swallowed.
• Do not dispose of the batteries by throwing them into a fire as they may
explode.
• For the disposal of batteries and waste, please act according to local law.
