LED does not light

Cause
Transmitted light / reflected light
changeover switch is in reflected light
(Fluorescence) position.
Transmitted light / reflected light
changeover switch is in transmitted
light (Brightfield) position.
Reflected-light illuminator not exactly
enough aligned to microscope stand
or displaced, causing interruption of
power supply by interlock function.
Cause
The camera does not draw power via
the USB cable.
USB cable is not connected to a
certified PSU.
USB cable is not suitable.
The camera indicates an error.
The buttons are temporarily locked, as
the camera is being accessed
exclusively from the PC or network.
For an update an SD card must be
inserted and the firmware update
must be saved to a specified subfolder
on the SD card.

Remedy
Turn transmitted light / reflected light
changeover switch to transmitted light
(Brightfield) position.
Turn transmitted light / reflected light
changeover switch to reflected light
(Fluorescence) position.
Align reflected-light illuminator exactly
to microscope stand and tighten
clamping screw sufficiently.
Troubleshooting
Connect the camera to a running PC
(using both Y-cable plugs) or with a
plugged-in power supply.
Requirements: 5 V DC with at least
950 mA at output.
Use the supplied original USB cable.
SD card is full:
Insert a new card or delete images from
the current card,
SD card is write-protected:
Push the locking slide on the card to
"unlocked".
SD card is defective or not formatted:
Format SD card; replace SD card if error
message does not disappear
Control the camera via PC software or
Zeiss app, or close the PC software or
Zeiss app.
Insert a formatted, unsecured SD card
with at least 10 MB free memory space.
Be sure to carefully follow the
instructions enclosed with the firmware
update.
