3. Flush out recovery tank with clean water.
4. If you operated the ESt option, you must drain
solution tank also. Flush out solution tank with
clean water.
5. Replace drain hose plug(s) securely.
6. When finished scrubbing, perform the Daily
Maintenance procedures (See MACHINE
MAINTENANCE).

ADJUSTING SCRUB HEAD

DISC BRUSH SCRUB HEAD

NOTE: Before adjusting scrub head, check tire
pressure and fill solution tank.
1. With pads/brushes installed, lower scrub head to
floor and apply maximum pad pressure.
2. Turn off machine and remove key.
FOR SAFETY: Before leaving or servicing
machine, stop on level surface, turn off machine,
and set parking brake, if equipped.
3. From center front and back of scrub head,
measure distance from top edge of scrub head to
floor (Figure 36).

4. If scrub head is not level, loosen lock nut and turn
scrub head leveling screw to level, 1 inch wrench
required. Tighten down lock nut once head is level
(Figure 37).

CYLINDRICAL BRUSH SCRUB HEAD

To check for proper brush adjustment perform the
following steps:
NOTE: Before checking or adjusting scrub brush,
check tire pressure and fill solution tank.
1. Apply a powdered substance, such as chalk, on a
smooth, level floor.
2. With scrub head raised, position scrub head over
test area and set parking brake, if equipped.
3. Lower scrub head to floor with minimal down
pressure.
4. Turn solution switch to the off position.
5. Turn speed control knob to slowest setting and
slightly rotate control grips forward for 2 seconds
while holding machine in one spot.
NOTE: If a powdered substance is not available, let
brushes spin for 30 seconds in one spot.
6. Release parking brake, raise scrub head and
reverse machine from test area.
7. Observe brush pattern on floor. Both brushes
should leave an even, parallel pattern (Figure 38).
