Engine Switch.
To start and stop the engine:
Switch Position:
OFF or 0: To stop the engine.
ON or 1: To start the engine.
NOTE: The engine switch also closes the fuel line between the fuel tank and the carburetor.
Recoil Starter.
To start and stop the engine, pull the starter cord lightly until resistance is felt, then pull fast.
NOTE: Do not allow the starter handle to snap back against the pump. Let the handle return gently
to prevent damage.
Fuel tank cap.
The fuel cap is supplied with a vent that can be closed
to seal the fuel tank. The vent lever must be in the
"ON" position for the engine to run.
NOTE: When the engine is not in use, set the vent
lever to the "OFF" position to prevent fuel leakage.
Allow the engine to cool before turning the vent
lever to the "OFF" position. .
LED indicator panel.
The pump is supplied with a LED panel that will indicate
when one of the following conditions exists.
Engine oil low:
The engine has a level switch that turns the engine off
automatically if one of the following conditions occurs:

The engine oil level is too low.

The pump is inclined at an angle greater than
20 degrees to the horizontal surface.
After the level switch has turned off the engine, the red
LED (A) will come on for a while. If you attempt to restart the engine, without adding engine oil or
leveling the pump, the red LED (A) will come on again.
Overheating:
The pump has an oil temperature sensor. If overheating
occurs, the red LED (B) will first flash. If the maximum
temperature is exceeded, the engine will turn off and the
red LED (B) will remain on for some time.
Service:
The pump has an indicator that shows when it is time for
the next service. When the service time is due, the green
LED (C) will flash. Contact your Holmatro dealer for maintenance of the pump. The service light
will not cause the engine to turn off, but it will continue to flash until service is performed.
