Using the multi-function adapter (MFA)
The SCHUBERTH F 300 is delivered with the multi-function (MFA) adapter as
standard. This adapter offers the option of fitting various accessories to the
helmet using a simple plug-in system.
Attention: For more information about the accessories and parts
mentioned above and how to handle them and use them properly, please
refer to their instructions.
1. Visor
The visor can be plugged into the MFA via the
associated adapter. If you hear a click, it is properly
engaged.
2. Ear protection
An adapter, which has been specially designed for
the model PELTOR OPTIME I model, is available to
attach the ear defenders to the MFA. This adapter
can also be click-fitted into the MFA using the
plug-in system.
3. Lamp
A flashlight can be mounted onto the left- or
right-hand MFA with the corresponding lamp
adapter. If the MFA is already being used for ear
protection, the lamp adapter can be plugged into
the ear protection adapter.

4. Respirator mask/goggles
The MFA is designed for the adaptation of a
respirator mask as a helmet/mask combination.
This requires the mask adapter to be fastened to
the MFA using a screw connection and can be set
in three size positions.
The mask adapter can also be used to clamp the
retainer strap of a pair of goggles.
Attention: The simultaneous use of mask and
ear protection is not possible.

INTERNAL ELEMENTS

Replacing the carry net
The carry net can be removed from the helmet easily
by loosening the four Velcro fastenings in the crest
area. When inserting the new carry net, please ensure
that the narrower side is placed towards the front.
Replacing the chin/neck strap
To remove the chinstrap, the two closing hooks must
first be disengaged from the fastener on the left and
right inside areas by pushing them out on the lower
points.
