The 430H2 head support with ABS exterior shell consists of three layers of foam of different dens­
ities. The head support is secured to the ABS shell with a hook and loop closure. Pre-formed
foam wedges are included in the scope of delivery and can be individually adapted in order to
offer the user additional support. For this purpose, the foam wedges are tailored to the required
size and shape and fitted within the hook and loop closure behind the head support foam.

The concave head support provides good posterior support for users with weak head control or
users who fatigue easily. It is available in three standard sizes.

This head support consists of three sections covered by a continuous foam pad. It provides pos­
terior support and features an adjustable contour. The angle of the sides and therefore the intens­
ity of lateral support can be individually adapted to the user's head via the hinges on the back.
Symmetrical positioning can be achieved as a result.

This head support has one middle pad and two lateral ones. It provides posterior and lateral sup­
port. The head support offers the option of individually adjusting and adapting the angle and
length of the lateral pads. A high-strength aluminium bracket holds the lateral pads and the angle
adjustment in the preconfigured position. Following a corresponding individual risk assessment, it
is possible to remove a lateral pad (for example to improve the user's field of vision). The 3-part
head support is available in three standard sizes.

3 Intended use

3.1 Indications for use

The head supports are intended exclusively to support the user's head in combination with
manual and/or power wheelchairs and mobility bases for seating shells with a tilt feature/tilt
adjustment or back angle adjustment for posture support. They provide comfort, posture support
