Installing the control unit

Install the control unit away from heat sources and in a place as dry as possible, without splashing water and
protected from dripping, at temperatures below 40°C. The minimum temperature must not fall below 0°C.
The control unit must be installed, making sure to leave enough space for the cables and connections.
The rear panel of the GUARDIAN NEXT control unit is supplied with 4 holes near the corners for fastening the
station to the wall. Fig. 5 features the position of the drilling holes and the maximum dimensions of the panel
(dimensions in mm).
If adequate for the support, use the wall plugs supplied, otherwise choose a suitable type. The station is supplied
already assembled and wired internally.
The wall must be as straight and even as possible to ensure optimal instrument support.
First of all, it is recommended to drill two holes aligned horizontally at a height that enables the operator to have a
correct view of the control panel and a suitable position for the calibration and control operations; the recommended
height from the floor is about 180 cm or at least at eye level. The distance between the two holes must be of 516 mm.
During installation it is recommended to use a spirit level to level the control unit.
