The protective caps of the sensitive electrode membranes should be stored in a safe place, as they will help to
maintain the moisture of the same if the water sampling station is switched off for an extended period.
A similar assembly procedure is applied to the electrode for measuring the temperature (not included) that can be
installed in the special housing of the probe holder by replacing the cap with the supplied fitting.
Chlorine probe assembly
To install the probe on the probe holder, first position the o-ring, PVC spacer ring and the second o-ring inside
the 1" seat. Check the positions of the components to avoid damage. Screw in the probe holder bush (Fig. 8).
It is recommended to open the outlet valve tap to eliminate water resistance inside the probe holder which could
damage the probe membrane during the repositioning operation.
Check that the probe is secured in place properly, otherwise it may be ejected due to the pressure in the probe
holder. For further details about using and servicing the chlorine probe, refer to the specific manual supplied.
