NOTE
► When using tools with drill chuck, the tool holder with retainer
must be dismantled .
For further information, see the section Dismantling/
assembling the tool holder .
In s e r t i n g t h e d r i l l c h u c k
Insert the drill chuck onto the tapered mandrel and insert
‹
the combination into the morse taper (5) of the machine . If
necessary, use an adapter sleeve .
Open the drill chuck and insert the tool into the drill chuck .

Close the drill chuck by hand and then tighten the drill chuck
‹
with the chuck key .
R e m o v i n g t h e d r i l l c h u c k
Unlock the drill chuck with the chuck key and remove the
‹
tool .

► Tighten the drill chuck only with the chuck key provided .
► Always remove the chuck key from the drill chuck after
tightening or loosening .
