5- Operating the Forage Chopper

5.1- Machine leveling

Note:
The Forage Chopper is not fastened on the
ground, it is only supported on rubbers
dumpers.
However, it is very important to install the
machine on a leveled and hard ground prior
operation.

5.2- Chute adjustment

Before start the Forage Chopper operation, adjust the
chute position (1), which give directions and break the
flush. To adjust it, loose the wing nuts (2), move the
chute and tighten the nuts.
CAUTION!
Don't make this adjustments with the
machine in operation!
Note:
Counter knife adjustment
To assure the maximum performance and
quality of chopped material, is very important
that the knifes (3) and counter knifes (4) are
correctly adjusted.
