GUIDE BAR
The guide bars provided with a sprocket at
D
their tip must be lubricated with grease using a
lubrication syringe.
The bar should be reversed every 8 working
E
hours to ensure uniform wear.
Keep the bar groove and lubrication hole clean
using the bar groove cleaner supplied optional.
NL
Check the bar rails frequently for wear and, if
necessary, remove the burs and square-up the
GB
rails using the flat file.
Turn the guide bar and check that the lubrication
holes are free from impurities.
GR
WARNING - Never mount a new chainsaw
on a worn sprocket.
TR
AIR FILTER - Rotate the knob (A, Fig. 27) and
CZ
check the air filter (B) each day. Clean with Emak
degreaser p/n 001101009A, rinse with water
and blast dry with compressed air, not too close,

by turning screws L and H through -¼ turn is
factory-set and cannot be chenged by the user.
WARNING – Don't try to force the screws
outside the range!
Idle screw T is adjusted in order to ensure a good
safety margin between idle running and clutch
engagement.
WARNING: With the engine idling, the chain
must never turn. If the chain moves to the
minimum, intervene on the T screw and reduce
the speed of the motor. If the problem persists,
immediately stop the work and contact an
Authorized Service Center to solve the problem.
Screw L must be adjusted so that the engine
promptly responds to sharp accelerations and
gives good idle operation.
Screw H must be adjusted so that the engine
gives maximum power during the cutting phase.
WARNING - Weather conditions and
altitude may affect carburation. Do not
