Ceramic components
The following ceramic components are
delivered in a cardboard box:
6 tiles for the sides (83)
2 frontage pieces (19)
1 upper frontage piece (24)
1 top (32)
Unscrew the rear (80) and the two profiles (6) to insert the tiles (83) on the right-hand side.
These characteristic tiles are made using the casting method and may differ slightly in height from one to another.
To make up for any variations in height, you can insert the rubber washers provided, which do nothing to harm the stove's
good looks. Place the three rubber washers (84) between one tile and another, starting from the baseplate, then reassemble the
profile (6).
Repeat the same operation on the left-hand side.
Insert the rear frontage piece (24) in the clamps in the front grid, then position the first forward frontage piece (19), clamp it
into place in the humidifier tank and seal it with silicon.
Now position the top (32), then position the second forward frontage piece (19) and use the two screws provided to secure it in
place as shown in detail drawing "X".
N.B:the red enamel with a jet finish that is applied to the majolica fissures uniformly across the entire surface.
This fissuring is not a defect, but a characteristic of enamel applied to majolica, which is also known as "craclé".
The pieces made of ceramic (majolica) are cast and enamelled by hand and may have small imperfections (small bumps or
porous areas in the enamel): these are not detrimental to their quality, but are evidence of the unique craftsmanship used to
make each piece in turn.
