socket strips.

parts. Do not drill holes in the appliance
and do not carry out any other work on the
appliance.
NOTICE
Material and property damage due to devi-
ations (voltage, frequency) in the operating
company's electrical network that are not per-
mitted by AHT.
§ The manufacturer is not liable for damage to the
operator's electrical equipment or any resulting
damage.
Material damage due to faulty electrical con-
nection.
§ Load breakers or appliance shut-downs are not
permitted.
Appliance connecting cable
There is a label tag with a snowflake at the
end of the connecting cable.
The appliance connecting cable is used to supply the
cooling system.
NOTICE
Property damage from interruption of the
voltage supply.
Cooling fails.
§ Do not connect the appliance connecting cable to
the power supply for the store lighting.
Light connecting cable
There is a label tag with a lamp symbol at the
end of the connecting cable.
The light connecting cable offers the option to switch
the appliance lighting on and off together with the
store lighting (energy saving).
AHT recommends the use of a cable channel with
sockets installed in or on it.
8.2

Fusing

Every electrical connection must be sufficiently fused.
Technical data [see } Chapter 3.2]
WARNING
Faulty/insufficient fuse protection.
Contact with live parts may result in electric
shock. Fire hazard due to sparking or over-
load.
§ Observe applicable local regulations, e.g.
for electrical installation and operation of
the appliances.
§ Observe applicable standards and safety
instructions.

§ Ensure adequate fuse protection.
§ Never operate the appliance without a re-
sidual current device.
§ Never operate the appliance without a
circuit breaker.
§ Never connect more than two appliances
to one fuse. AHT recommends connecting
a maximum of one appliance.
§ Never connect more than eight lighting
connections to one fuse.

Start-up

The appliance may only be started up in the intended
installation room and after checking for completeness.
An appliance may be started up by trained personnel.
WARNING
Damage to the electrical system and/or
the refrigerant circuit.
Contact with live parts may result in electric
shock. Flammable refrigerant can escape and
cause an explosive gas/air mixture. Fire haz-
ard due to sparking or overload.
§ Do not operate a damaged appliance.
§ Do not connect any damaged parts to the
power supply, e.g. connecting cables.
§ Only qualified staff may replace damaged
parts, e.g. connecting cables.
§ Observe safety notices and warnings for
appliances with flammable refrigerants
[see } Chapter 2.5.2].
§ In the event of damage to the appliance,
promptly contact the maintenance service
[see } Chapter 12.4].
NOTICE
Property damage due to incorrect ambient
conditions.
§ Adjust the appliance to match the ambient temper-
ature prior to start-up.
§ The ambient temperature must not fall below 16°C
(60.8°F).
a) Insert the mains plug of the appliance connecting
cable [see } Chapter 8.1].
b) For appliances with their own light connection,
also plug in the mains plug of the light connecting
cable.
The cooling unit starts to operate after a delay of max.
2 minutes.
After start-up, it may take up to 3 to 4 hours until the
desired temperature is reached.

Operation

Only trained operating personnel may operate the ap-
pliance.
