BYPASS MODE
If starting has failed during standard troubleshooting and recharging, the vehicle's on-board computer may not allow
starting because the battery (vehicle) voltage is < 8V. In this case, follow the steps in BYPASS mode.
Check the connections before proceeding to the next step.
DO NOT REVERSE THE POLARITIES (protection is disabled).
Press the Power button.
The digital display shows the capacity status of the GYSCAP 680E.
The display shows 0 because the battery voltage is not available in this mode.
Press for 3 seconds to force the vehicle to start to troubleshoot.
A 30-second countdown begins.
Start the vehicle to be serviced as soon as possible before its capacity is transferred to the battery.
Wait for the GYSCAP 680E to recharge until the digital display indicates
(once recharged, the GYSCAP 680E is ready for further troubleshooting).
After GYSCAP 680E shutdown:
Disconnect the GYSCAP 680E clamps from the vehicle.
Wrap the cables and store the clamps in the space provided.

Disconnect the (+) terminal from your battery and connect
the red (+) clamp of the GYSCAP 680E to it.
Connect the black (-) clamp to the (-) terminal of your
battery.
Replace the assembly: terminal and red (+) clip on the (+)
terminal of the battery.
Remove the red clip (+) from the terminal attached to the
battery.
