3.9 Measurement setup

The R&S ENV216 Two-Line V-Network satisfies the requirements of interference
measurement regulations CISPR 16-1-2 and 16-2-1 and also EN55016-1-1 and
EN55016-2-2, and the U.S. FCC (Part 15).
The measurement setups prescribed in the individual standards are largely similar. A
detailed description is provided for example by the standard CISPR 14-1 and
EN55014-1, see also the following figure.
Devices under test that are not equipped with permanently attached connecting wires
are connected to the network using a 1 meter long, unshielded wire. For devices under
test equipped with a permanently attached cable that is longer than 1 meter, the cable
is laid out in a folded configuration.
