Installing the gripper fingers

Excessive forces and torques will damage the gripper jaws of the HGDS−...
S Ensure that the maximum permissible values are adhered to.
These values can be found in the sections 'Technical data' and 'Characteristic
curves'.
Use the shortest, lightest gripper fingers

possible for your application.
Handle the gripper jaws with care.

Press locating pins into each of the holes

on the gripper fingers.
Position the gripper fingers on the gripper

jaws.
Make sure that the maximum permissible
S
tightening torques are not exceeded.
Excessive forces or tightening torques will
damage the gripping mechanism.
