Le kit SAS-MX Hb acide est un système qualitatif servant à l'identification des bandes
d'hémoglobines. Avec l'utilisation d'un contrôle contenant HbA, HbS et HbA
sont observées sur un gel et sur plusieurs gels. Aucune bande ne manque et aucune bande
supplémentaire n'est observée entre les différents tests.

La méthode est sensible à partir 0,08g/dl par bande, concentration la plus faible qui est mise en
évidence par une fine bande une fois le gel terminé.

La concentration maximale d'hémoglobine par bande permettant d'assurer une bonne séparation
et une non-superposition des protéines est de 4g/dl. Cette technique n'est pas destinée à une
intégration densitométrique.
