12.4
Calibration body incorrectly
positioned
Calibration body placed in such a way as to not cover
the entire diagnostic opening.
Fig. 31:

"
Place calibration body parallel to the diagnostic
opening so that it is covered completely.
12.5
Ambient lighting too bright during
field calibration
If the ambient lighting is sensed as too bright during
the calibration, TTM 2104/2204 issues the following failure
indication:
ERROR: The groove of the reference object
is too far left of the center. Please try
again!
"
Cover the modules with a cloth during the calibration.
12.6
Incorrect depth data during field
calibration
i
The field calibration body has a clearance of
3 mm from the diagnostic opening on one side
and 10 millimeters on the other side. The current
calibration software works with these values.
i
The old calibration software used until autumn
2015 (V 0.9.94) works with a clearance of 1 mm and
10 mm.
If out-of-date calibration software was used during
the field calibration, the contact surface of all tires is
calculated 2 to 3 mm too deep.
The contact surface is calculated incorrectly and
incorrect values are obtained from the ISO cali-
bration.

The values differ signification leaf from the actual
values (1.6 and 4 mm). As the vehicle crosses over, the
tires are sensed as too high or too low and the values
are discarded.
A correct measurement cannot be performed.
"
Before calibrating, check whether the latest software
is loaded on TTM 2104/2204. Recalibrate system with the
correct field calibration body.
Field calibration body or ISO calibration body was
positioned incorrectly. Remove dirt from support
points.
Check for rocking of the runway and if necessary adjust
so that the runway no longer rocks. Errors occur if the
rocking exceeds approx. 1 mm.
12.7
Calibrating the black/white ratio
A value between 0.94 and 0.98 is ok.
i
If the values differ, the reason is a shadow in the
height or width.

Analyzing the calibration data
i
Saved calibration data are located at 'C:/
PRODUKTION/CALIBRATION/CALIBRATION_WIN_
CONSOLE/LOG'.
i
The calibration folder name consists of:
R
Mac address
R
Timestamp (date, time)
R
Name
separated by an underscore
('00061F3D0C1E_161215_090755_CALIBRATION').

In the event of a faulty calibration, a
LOG file is saved at 'C:/PRODUKTION/
CALIBRATION/CALIBRATION_WIN_CONSOLE/
