11) CP.MS5 CONTROL UNIT ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

All connectors of the CP.MS5 control unit are positioned external to the central box and of the extractable type so as to facilitate their use.
To access the control unit remove the plastic cover by pressing the two side flaps, as shown in Figures 18 and 19.

Note:
The control unit uses a "P2" key with the same functions of the Step-by-Step push-button. This is useful to control the automatic system
during installation (only with DIP2: OFF).

12) OPENING DIRECTION

The MS5 gearmotor is factory supplied prepared for installation with engine at LEFT, as seen from the inside, and as shown in Figure 23.
In the event that it is to be installed on a gate with a contrary opening direction, it is sufficient to invert the engine White and Red con-
nections and the limit switch White and Brown connections, as shown in Fig. 22.

13) NETWORK ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY CONNECTION

For the connection to the electrical power supply use the special extractable terminal. The GND terminal is pre-wired at the base of the
gearmotor.
The earthing electrical power supply connection must therefore be connected to the other GND terminal which is on the base of the
gearmotor (Figure 25).

14) ENCODER INSTALLATION

The installation of the MAG.E encoder device is possible, which allows the detection of obstacles by means of the TW Trimmer.
For installation proceed as follows:
Remove the cover casing of the control unit and, by using a screwdriver, remove the cover part shown in Figure 26.
Apply the Encoder container on the motor hood, fastening it with the screws provided as standard, as shown in Figure 27.
Close again the central cover casing and engage the MAG.E connector in the special ENC terminal as shown in Figure 29.
Proceed with the learning of the running and the decelerations as indicated in paragraph 18.
