The Model 310X's circuits are not nonincendive field‑wiring circuits except the foot switches. Wire all circuits
connected to the 310X Intercom using Class I, Division 2 wiring methods specified in Article 501‑4 (b) of the NEC.
F. Service.
Any maintenance must be performed by a trained electrician in accordance with NEC guidelines and local codes.
1. General.
The call signal is substantially louder than normal voice messages being carried on the line.
Do not depress the call switch while carrying on a conversation with someone on the system.
Federal Signal will service your equipment or provide technical assistance with any problems that cannot be
handled locally.
Any units returned to Federal Signal for service, inspection, or repair must be accompanied by a Return
Material Authorization. This R.M.A can be obtained from the local Distributor or Manufacturer's Representative.
At this time a brief explanation of the service requested or the nature of the malfunction, should be given.
