The scoop blades can be released by sliding locking bush up,
and the scoop blades are locked by sliding locking bush down.
Warning
Beware of fingers being squeezed in scissors.
Attention should be paid to ensure
safe transfer and the work technique
of the user.
When transferring a deceased person
the Horizontal lifter BS must be lifted
over the deceased person and the
scoop blades placed one on each
side and aligned to the deceased
person's center of gravity in
the length direction.
When activating the ceiling hoist, the
scissors of the Horizontal lifter BS will
create an inward pressure assisting
the scoop blades to slide under the
deceased person being transferred.
Make sure that the locking bushes
are securely closed.
The locking bushes can be released,
to allow the scoop blades to swing
open, when removing the Horizontal
lifter BS from e.g. a casket.
Guldmann disclaims any responsibi-
lity for defects or accidents which may
occur as a result of incorrect use of
the Horizontal lifter BS or because of
a lack of attention on the part of the
user.
