1. INTRODUCTION

Guarita IP was developed to manager the residential or commercial condominiums' access control
interconnected to the receivers and Linear-HCS devices as Active Tag, Passive Tag, Remote Control
(or Tactile Tag), RFID Cards, Password and Fingerprint.
The user's registration has different fields to identification, being 18 characters for the name, selection of 32
automobile manufacturers (predefined) and more 32 customizable automobiles, 16 colors (as DENATRAN -
Brazilian traffic department - description) and 7 alphanumeric characters for the plate.
The device has many resources to help in the patrimony security and systems users:
- User panic, can be triggered by RFID cards, Remote Controls, Tactile Tags, Password and Biometrics;
- "Wake up Doorman" function;
- "Hitchhiked" vehicle detection;
- Shared panic between the condominiums (by external management);
- Cloning Alert - The Guarita IP emits an alert everytime there's a cloning attempt.
The alerts can be managed by the doorman / administrator (audio and visual) directly on the Guarita IP
display, and can be expanded to computers in the network, monitoring centers or other alarm devices.
Optionally, there are modems to send the data and alarms for GPRS.
The Guarita IP can work together with the receivers' devices:
- Direct opening command mode of the gate or door lock (by the user's device activation);
- Only indicate / signalize to the doorman which are the user that the activation comes from, entrusting
the effective opening of the gate to the doorman / administrator;
- Opening release by the doorman only during adjustable time after the activation of the user device,
increasing the system security.
It is possible to control parking spaces by users, linking one parking space to each registered device when
using remote controls as access devices. In this working mode, when the parking space is occupied, the
user cannot activate the condominium entrance gate again without leaving the parking space using the
same device to activate the exit gate.
For complex systems or where each user can have more access devices than parking spaces, it is
necessary to use a computer with a specific access control software, developed by integrators partners
(contact our technical support team).
It has voice function that enable the reproduction of predefined messages and inform the recent events in
the system to the doorman (indicated for low flow) being connected to the external speakers with P2 plug
standard.
Optionally, can reproduce text messages in its display and voice messages in Brazilian Portuguese,
Spanish and English (contact us).
All the events are stored in the equipment's internal memory and can be extracted (backup) to a USB
Flash Drive or automatically in the internal "SD CARD". Also possible through a computer with a free
software available in www.linear-hcs.com.br.
