14.4 DYNAMIC DNS MENU
The dynamic DNS is a service used to connect the Internet IP (if available in the local
network where the Guarita IP is connected) to a previously set host. Mostly used when it is
necessary access the equipment (or another network device) by the Internet and the access
provider does not provide a fixed IP address. It is also used when the Guarita IP is directly
connected to the Internet access modem.
Before using this option, an account must be created in the Dynamic DNS Server, according
the user's choice:
DynDNS: http://dyn.com/dns/
No-IP: http://www.noip.com/
DNS-O-Matic: http://dnsomatic.com/
After the account creation, the Guarita IP can be configured:
Serviço DDNS: Dynamic DNS server selection;
Host: Created address in the DDNS server;
Usuário: User name of the DDNS account;
Senha: Password of the DDNS account;
Status: Displays information about the connection with the DDNS server.
