Maintaining the Model 371/371L

Establishing a regular maintenance schedule for the Model
371/371L extends the life of the light and ensures safety.
Periodically check that the light operates properly. Also, inspect
the dome for cracks, crazing (hairline cracks), discoloration, and
other defects.
• Lubricate the lamp shaft bearings with a light machine oil every
12 months or 5,000 hours of service, whichever comes first.
• The worm and worm gear rarely require lubrication. However,
if lubrication is required use a light high-quality grease.
