Readying the unit for exposure

Power supply
The USB – Box has no ON/OFF switch. Connect the
USB cable (see page 18).
The power indication LED (3) lights up when the PC is
switched on.
In order to make the system ready for exposure,
SIDEXIS must be started on the corresponding com-
puter.
First you must register a patient in the SIDEXIS pro-
gram.
To take a single exposure, click the XI icon.
To take multiple exposures of the same patient, select
the subitem "Multiple exposure" from the menu bar.

NOTE
Please note that the exposure must be taken within 120
seconds following activation.
The message "Wait for X-ray radiation..." appears in the
exposure window.
In addition, the green display in the exposure window
starts flashing.
