NOTE
Observe the corresponding specifications of the X-ray
device manufacturer.
The radiation dose received by the X-ray sensor based
on the selected exposure data influences the image
quality.
The X-ray sensor accepts a wide range of exposure
data. The automated image preprocessing function
ensures that the exposures are displayed with optimal
brightness and contrast.
Nevertheless, if the dose is too low, the resulting image
may be noisy or blurred. – In contrast to this, an exces-
sive dose resulting in overmodulation of the sensor may
cause dark areas to occur in the image.
ATTENTION
Image degradations resulting from an insufficient dose
can be partially compensated through image postpro-
cessing. Image degradations caused by overmodulation
of the sensor cannot be compensated!
