KK. Clik - High Mount Flip Under Footrest (Optional)
Removal and replacement of footplate assembly for width growth:
1. Removal (Fig. 51)
a. Remove two 6mm screws (Fig. 51:A) from each side of footrest frame clamp.
b. The entire footplate assembly can now be removed.
2. Replacement (Fig. 51)
a. Loosen two 6mm flat head screws (Fig. 51:B) on center clamp.
b. Slide tube (Fig. 51:C) out of center clamp.
c. Remove 6mm screw (Fig. 51:D) from mount bracket.
d. Slide tube (Fig. 51:C) out of mount bracket.
e. Replace tube (Fig. 51:C) with one of the new tubes from growth kit.
f. Repeat steps A - E on opposite side.
g. Reinsert 6mm screw (Fig. 51:D) through mount bracket and tube (Fig. 51:C). Retighten and
repeat on opposite side. Take care to use same hole placement in mount bracket on both
sides.
NOTE: There are three possible positions (Fig. 52:A). Choose position that is optimal for
desired footrest height.
h. Insert tube (Fig. 51:C) through pivot bracket (Fig. 51:E) and into center clamp. Repeat on
opposite side.
i. Mount complete footrest assembly onto front frame in desired footrest height location by
placing clamps on front frame.
j. Replace two 6mm screws (Fig. 51:A) into clamp on each side.
k. Tighten one 6mm screw slightly on each side. Once secure, finish tightening the four 6mm
screws. Turn each screw a little at a time to prevent the clamp from clamping down
unevenly.
l. To set footplate angle, rotate center clamp around the footrest extension tube.
m. Select desired position and retighten the two 6mm flat head screws (Fig. 51:B) to 80 in./lbs.
