SETTING DATE/TIME
IT IS NECESSARY TO SET THE DATE AND TIME FOR THE
UNIT EVERY TIME BATTERIES ARE INITIALLY INSTALLED OR
REPLACED.
IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO SET THE DATE AND TIME, YOU
MAY PRESS THE START/STOP BUTTON TO FORWARD
THROUGH THE TIME AND DATE FEATURE WITHOUT SETTING
A PREFERENCE.
The date/time feature is on the lower left of the
display screen. This unit stores the date and time,
including year, allowing for a date/time stamp on
all readings in the memory recall function.
1. When the unit is off (a blank display screen),
press the SET button 2x to activate the display.
The YEAR will flash.
2. YEAR—the year will flash on the display.
Repeatedly press and release the M button to
advance the display to the desired year, press
the SET button to confirm your selection and
advance to the date settings.
To advance the numbers quickly, press and
hold the M button.
3. MONTH / DATE —repeat the same sequence
of step 2 to confirm the MONTH and DATE
setting.
