4.3 Connecting the cable assembly

9 Screw torch neck into the torch neck mount of the handle.
NOTE
• For PA liners of outer diameter 4.00 mm, the capillary tube in the
intermediate joining section must be replaced with a guide tube.
1 Unscrew torch neck from handle.
2 Introduce torch neck liner with the stripped side into the torch neck until the
stop at the contact tip.
3 Cut off torch neck liner free of burr such that it protrudes 30 - 31mm.
4 Screw torch neck into the torch mount of the handle.
For welding tasks which absolutely require a continuous wire guide, please
consult the supplier's or manufacturer's Service Department.
1 Join central connector and central socket at the wire feed unit and secure
them with the connection nut.
2 Properly mount the connections for water supply/return, shielding gas and
control lead plug.
