23. Replace the aerator
23.1 Use the special wrench (e) to loosen the entire aerator.
23.2 Remove the entire aerator from the headpiece (a).
23.3 Remove the seal (b).
23.4 Remove the casing (c).
23.5 Replace the aerator (d).
23.6 Reassemble in reverse order.
24. Replacing the non-return valve
Warning!
All non-return valves must be replaced at the same time.
Failure to observe this instruction can result in an increased germ load in the
drinking water and thus pose a health or mortality risk.
24.1 Remove the cover plate (see
Caution!
Use an open-ended wrench to hold the water quantity regulator (b) in position while
turning the cap nut (a).
24.2 Remove the function block (c).
24.3 Remove the existing seals.
24.4 Remove the locking ring on the inside using appropriate pliers for locking rings.
24.5 Pull the non-return valve (d) out of the function block using a special tool (e;
FAR-Best.-Nr. 2000105636).
Optional:
Fittings with optional thermal disinfection have a third non-return valve.
24.6 Remove the lock (f) using an Allen key.
24.7 Remove the spacer (g).
24.8 Pull the non-return valve (h) out of the function block using a special tool
(e; FAR-Best.-Nr. 2000105636).
Caution!
Note the installation position of the non-return valves.
24.9 Reassemble in reverse order.
