WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS
•
Do not try to light any appliance
•
Do not touch any electrical switch. Do
not use any phone in your building
•
Immediately call your gas supplier
from a neighbor's phone. Follow the
gas supplier's instructions
•
If you cannot reach your gas supplier,
call the fire department
Installation and service must be per-
formed by a qualified ROCA service
technician or your gas supplier.
WARNING
To minimize the possibility of serious
personal injury, fire, or damage to the
appliance, never violate the following
safety guidelines:
Always keep the area around the boiler
free of combustible materials, gasoline,
and other flammable liquids and vapors.
Never cover the waterheater, place anything
against it, stand on it, or in any way block
the flow of fresh air to the boiler.
NOTE
Where required by local authority,
any installation must conform to the
standards stipulated by that area's
jurisdiction.
WARNING
Incorrect installation, service, adjusting,
or maintenance can cause damage,
or personal injury or death. Please check
your Installation or Owner's manual which
came with the waterheater. Installation
and service must be provided by a trained
ROCA service technician.
WARNING
Be certain that the fuel supply the waterheater
is designed to use is the same type that is
specified on the boiler information label.
WARNING
If overheating occurs or the gas supply valve
fails to shut off, do not turn off or disconnect
the electrical supply to the waterheater.
If this condition occurs, turn off the gas supply
outside the waterheater.
WARNING
Do not use this waterheater if any part has been
immersed in water. Immediately call your ROCA
service technician to service the waterheater.
NOTE
This manual must be kept in readable
condition close to your waterheater
or in a safe accessible place for future
use. Contact your local ROCA represent-
ative for replacement manuals if needed.
