Check the salinity of the water and check to see if the cell is clean (a white deposit
indicates scale and you will need to clean the cell – see Section 6).

8) GUARANTEE

The guarantee is only valid provided the unit has been put into operation and used in
accordance with the instructions given in the manual.
The electrodes inside the electrolyser cell are made of a precious metal which is by far
the most expensive component and at the same time the most fragile. It is therefore
essential to comply with the instructions regarding cleaning and water salinity so as to
maintain the conditions required in order to ensure maximum chlorine production.
The unit is guaranteed for 2 years with effect from the date of purchase. Using the
electrodes in water with a salt content of less than 3 grams/litre for Pro-MATIC -
ESC models and 4 grams/litre for Eco-MATIC - ESR models will invalidate the
guarantee.
