CHECKING THE FORK: TIGHTENING AND
ADJUSTING THE STEERING BEARINGS
WARNING
You will need to check the steering fre-
quently for your safety
- To do this, loosen all of the bolts mar-
ked 1.
- Tighten the steering stem nut 2 untill
1
there is no more play in the bearings.
The steering should still turn freely and

not bind.
- Do not tighten so much that the stee-
ring will not turn freely.
- Re-tighten all of the 1 bolts (torque
24Nm)
- Finish by tightening nut 2
NOTE
The bearings must be lubricated at least
once a year with grease
