Problems
Pump does not run
Safety switches

Pump has no power
Water in oil
Oil in motor

Causes
no voltage
Rotor blocked
Cable break
Water in motor compartment
foreign body in the pump, WSK triggered.
The pump sucks in air due to an overly strong
drop in the liquid level.
Pump working against insulating air cushion
wrong direction of rotation
Pressure-pipe blocked
Impeller blocked by foreign body
Mechanical seal damaged
Lip seal damaged
Solutions
Check wires and fuses and/or switch automatic
circuit-breakers back on in distribution substa-
tion
Clean casing and impeller
Check cabvle resistance. If necessary, replace
cable. Only use original WILO special cable!

Turn off the pump and ensure that it is not tur-
ned on by unauthorised personnel,
Close shut-off device behind the pump,
Lift the pump out of the well,
Remove foreign body.
check the function/adjustments of the
control level.
Vent backflow preventer
Swap 2 phases (see 6.1)
Check and clean line
