5.3 SITE FOR INSTALLATION OF THE
PRODUCT
The enclosed "Product technical details" show the
minimum clearances from combustible materials
and objects expressed in centimetres that must
be observed when positioning the stove; for non-
flammable walls/objects, these clearances can be
halved.
Protect all structures that may catch fire if exposed
to excessive heat.
Floors made from flammable materials such as:
wood, parquet, linoleum, laminates or carpets
must be protected by a suitably-sized fireproof
base underneath stove.
The manufacturer declines all liability for any
alterations to the characteristics of the material
making up the floor underneath the protective
base.
Any elements made from wood (e.g. beams) or
other combustible material located near the stove
should be protected with fireproof material.
Flammable walls or elements must be kept at
least 100 cm away from the stove.
Leave enough clearance for maintenance work.
Make sure the minimum distance from flammable
materials is observed, as shown on the pipes used
to make up the flue or chimney.
The unit is equipped with wheels for easy
positioning; Take care to adequately protect the
wooden floors to avoid damage.
5.4 CASING
The stove should be inserted inside a suitable
casing made of fireproof materials and will have
the following basic features (fig. 5.1):
A) adequate
openings
components
B) a door for access to the pellet tank
C) grill for venting heat in the hood
D) grills for the entry of combustion air to the
stove
E) place prepared for the positioning of the
control panel
F) means of access to the ashes drawer
• Make sure that between casing and stove there
is a minimum distance of at least 5 mm.
• Wooden beams must have fireproofing treatment
and be protected by screens in fireproof material.
• Minimum distance between ceiling and cladding
= minimum 10 cm, or have a heat vent area min.
of 1.68 Dm2 (equivalent to three grids measuring
40x15 cm).
• When covering the stove, it is necessary to
protect it from dust, mortar or other foreign
bodies that may damage it. Remove this
protection after completing the work.
