5.8.4 Connection to an external timer thermostat
The stove can be connected to an external timer
thermostat that switches the stove on or off
according to the set temperature.
When the set temperature is reached the
thermostat opens the circuit and consequently
switches off the stove.
The external thermostat must be connected to
the two terminals to which the ambient sensor is
connected at the factory. Then disconnect the sensor
and connect the two contacts of the thermostat.
The stove must be set to configuration 1 following
the instructions shown in the paragraph on "Initial
configuration".
After first installing the timer thermostat, the stove
needs to be switched on manually, while the timer
thermostat is in "call" status. This operation is also
required in the event of power failures or if the stove
is switched off manually.
To avoid overlapping the working time bands, it's
recommend to disable (set to OFF) the stove's timer.
5.8.5 Operation with room probe
In certain circumstances the stove may need to
modulate operation based on the temperature
read by the room probe fitted on the stove.
For this purpose it is necessary to bring the
probe environment present on the stove in a
location outside coating that read the correct room
temperature.
The stove must be set to configuration 2 following
the instructions shown in the paragraph on "Initial
configuration".
5.8.6 Connection to a storage tank with coil
The stove can be used to maintain the temperature
inside a storage tank fitted with coil.
In this case simply disconnect the external
temperature probe from the stove and fit it in the
probe socket on the storage tank.
The stove must be set to configuration 3 following
the instructions shown in the paragraph on "Initial
configuration".
5.8.7 Connection to a storage tank without coil
The stove can be used to maintain the temperature
inside a storage tank without coil.
In this case simply disconnect the external
temperature probe from the stove and fit it in the
probe socket on the storage tank.
The stove must be set to configuration 4 following
the instructions shown in the paragraph on "Initial
configuration".

5.9 PLUMBING SYSTEM

Connection to the plumbing system and the
plumbing system must be in compliance with
current national laws and standards, and realized
by qualified personnel.
1. Make the water connections to the boiler body
as described on the datasheet in the Product
Booklet.
2. Make sure that all the control and safety
devices including those supplied with the
stove are installed correctly (safety and heat
exhaust valves).
MAXIMUM WORKING PRESSURE: 2,5 bar
IT IS PROHIBITED to install room thermostats on
the system that start or stop the circulation pump,
to adjust the temperature in the rooms. For safety
reasons the pump must ALWAYS work any time the
fire is lit, disposing of the heat produced inside the
stove. If it is too hot in the rooms, reduce the fire,
even until it goes out if wanted.
The combination of heat dissipater and thermal
relief valve allows closed-circuit installation.
When making closed-circuit installations, ensure
that the cooling water is not delivered by pump
(for example, well water), as in the event of power
failures, cooling and consequently safety would
not be guaranteed.
