8 MAINTENANCE

8.1 GENERAL WARNINGS

-
Maintenance and/or repair operations on any part
of the machine must be performed exclusively with
the power supplies switched off (Main Power Switch
in the "0" position) and disconnected (the electrical
powersupply plug unplugged from the mains socket).
-
Maintenance operations must be performed exclusively
by qualified and specialised personnel.
-
Never begin using the machine again before it is
absolutely clear that the maintenance or repair
operation performed has had the desired effect on
machine functionality and been performed correctly.

8.2 PROGRAMMED MAINTENANCE

Checking on stichers and plates

Type TOUCH: Touch Portable, Touch Bike
Machine status: Switched off, with all power supplies
disconnected
Qualification required: Manufacturer's engineer
Programmed interval: Every 100 hours
Intervention: The stickers and plates applied to the
machine must be kept constantly clean and complete.
Clean thoroughly or replace whenever necessary.

CMM (arm) performance check

Type TOUCH: Touch Portable, Touch Bike
Machine status: Switched off, with all power supplies
disconnected
Qualification required: Mechanical maintenance man
Programmed interval: Every 12 month
Intervention: Check performance of CMM (TOUCH arm)
in conformity with standard ISO 10360.

8.3 EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE

If you had to find some problems of malfunctioning
of the TOUCH arm, it is necessary to verify the correct
functioning of the various electronic components installed
in it, following this procedure:
1)
Verify that the TOUCH is fed with a source of energy
suitable to the specifications indicated on this user
manual, and that the main switch is positioning on
"ON".
2)
Verify that the computer, on which the TOUCH
software is installed, is connected to a suitable source
of energy and the power is on.
3)
Start the program "Spanesi SPA TestTOUCH 1."
double clicking on the desktop icon.
4)
Wait for the connection between the computer and the
TOUCH arm.
5)
Move repeatedly the TOUCH arm so that all the red
boxes in the columns "First zeroing" and "Lost zero"
become green; if this doesn't happen, proceed as
indicated in the point 8 and 9.
6)
Press the button "Diag..." .
7)
Perform the whole test procedure indicated by the
software.
8)
Press "Print" and print the report of the tests
performed.
9)
If on the right part of the test doesn't appear "*", the
electronic works correctly, otherwise send a copy of
the test performed by fax (+39.049.57.41.295) or by
E-mail (touch.assistance@spanesi.it) to the TOUCH
technical office.
WARNING:
All
operations must be performed exclusively by
the electrical or mechanical maintenance man.
IMPORTANT: In order to avoid problems, we
recommend using only original SPANESI spare
parts to be ordered from the local authorised
dealer or SPANESI directly using the appropriate
order form .
