The resulting values, according to the auxiliary tools which have been used, have turned out to be high, since they
overcome the reference limit of 2.5 m/s
The following obligations have to be fulfilled:
•
The operator shall undergo a periodic check up.
•
The operator shall be informed about the vibrations risks.
2.1.2 General precautions
WARNING!
•
Always use adequate clothing as called for by the job. Wear tight clothing. Do not wear ties, necklaces or belts
which may get caught in the moving parts. Use anti-sliding shoes and protective gloves (Fig. C).
•
Wear anti-noise hearing protection.
•
Do not operate, service or repair the equipment if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs which could impair
your alertness or co-ordination.
•
Only well trained and qualified personnel who have read the use and maintenance manual carefully are allowed to
use the tool.
•
Keep children and animals away from the tool.
•
Never alter the safety and protective devices.
•
The operator is the only responsible for injuries caused to other people or for damage caused to their properties.
•
Do not use the tool when you are in unstable position or off balance.
•
It is forbidden to operate the tool on ladders.
•
Before any ordinary maintenance operations, read the use and maintenanace manual carefully. For any maintenance
operation which is not indicated in this manual, please contact one of the CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. Authorized Service
Points.
•
Before attempting to perform any type of maintenance, always detach the air hose.
•
Use the tool just for the aims indicated in "Description of the Product". Any other kind of use may cause injuries.
2.2 Use
•
Wear goggles or a visor, heavy-duty footwear, gloves and sound barriers (Fig. C).
Set the compressor to a pressure of 600 ÷ 800 kPa (6-8 bar). Higher pressures may cause premature wear of
the tools.
•
Always hold the tool with both hands on the handle and make sure you are in a steady and safe work position.
•
Use the tool just for the aims indicated in "Description of the Product". Any other kind of use may cause injuries.
•
When the tool is connected to the air supply but is not being used, make sure the safety catch (23) on the handle (25)
automatically engages itself.
•
If a telescopic extension (36) is being used, make sure that the clamp (37) is holding it firmly before starting work.
•
Always check that the safety devices are perfectly efficient.
•
Always hold the handles (25-34) with both hands and work in a safe and secure position.
