- MAINTENANCE

6.1 Ordinary maintenance

WARNING!
• Before carrying out any maintenance operation, disconnect the tool from the compressed air hose.
• All the maintenance operations which are not described in this manual have to be performed in a CAMPAGNOLA
S.r.l. Authorized Service Point.
• The ordinary maintenance operations may be carried out by the operators.

6.1.1 General

Before any maintenace operations:
• Engage the safety catch (23).
• Disconnect the compressed air hose.

6.1.2 Lubrication

• Every 20 hours of operation put in a few drops of SAE 10-30 oil or similar lubricants through the air fitting (26) and also
lubricate the link (6) of the raker (2).
• Periodically check the oil level in the lubricator of the compressor.
WARNING!
Do not use hydraulic oil or oil for braking systems; these may cause irreparable damage.

6.1.3 Cleaning - Putting the tool away

• At the end of work, it is good practice to pour some diesel fuel drops through the air fitting (26), located on the handle,
before putting the rake away. To do this, make the rake idle for a few seconds.
• This will prevent extraneous matter combined with moist air from forming build-ups.
WARNING!
Do not throw the oil out in the environment. Always observe current environmental protection laws when disposing of
the oil.
