SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Repairs on the device may only be carried out by a qualified technician, or by our Customer
Service Department.
•
Please make sure that the maximum load of the timer switch (3680 W ohmic load or 690
inductive load, such as with motorised equipment, transformers etc.) is not exceeded.
•
Always use extension cables, which are appropriate for the output of the timer switch.
•
Please note that the device, and any connected electrical equipment, will only be a vol-
tage-free after the plug has been pulled from the socket.
•
Do not operate any heavy plug-in power supply units with the timer switch, since the
terminals of the wall socket are likely to be mechanically overloaded.
•
Do not insert an additional childproofing device into the socket of the timer switch. The
connection between the timer switch and the connected equipment is impaired by this.
Risk of overheating!
•
Never let children play with the batteries.
The swallowing of a battery is highly dangerous and can cause death. If a battery has been
swallowed, immediately take up contact with a doctor.
•
Only use the timer switch for private purposes.

DISPOSAL
Packaging
Your timer switch has been packed carefully, to prevent damage during transport. Our
packaging consists of raw materials that can be reused or recycled.
Batteries
Used batteries do not belong in your household waste. Batteries must be returned to a
collection point for used batteries.
Device
If you want to dispose of an old or damaged timer switch, never put it in to the
normal household waste. Please inform yourself about the possibilities for an eco-
logically friendly and proper disposal.
